The studio

Frame Relay is a small studio built around careful looking, direct communication and production decisions that make the image more useful.
Our role is to make the brief feel possible.
We work with independent teams, founders and communications leads who know what needs to be said but need a visual route to say it. That can mean a one-person portrait session, a new image library, or a campaign with several moving parts.
The studio stays intentionally small. You deal with the person shaping the visual direction, preparing the production and reviewing the final selection. There is less handover, less noise and more attention where it counts.
How we work
Every commission begins with a practical conversation: audience, use, feeling, timing and budget. We turn that into a short shoot plan, confirm the team and location, then keep the day clear enough for real responses rather than fixed poses.
A patient pace
We give people time to settle into the room and tell them what is happening without over-directing.
Thoughtful delivery
Selections, retouching and file formats are planned around the places your images will actually appear.
